I am watching, from the silent swing
The night’s sea birds moving
From the beach to the path that leads
East through the mountains
And I’ll go too
Following the highway through the desert, then up
And out across the sunrise
To the Rockies where I’ll find home
And then to the woods where I’ll be home
And leaving beach and sun drenched palms
I’ll weep a little, but praise the coming of the snow.

godspeed on your journey Marie – the road ahead may be long but inside you have almost arrived at the end of this part of your trip.
Inside I know you have been traveling for sometime and the road, while long too, is almost at the end. No doubt when you arrive at your destination you will begin a new journey. One that isn’t as uphill as the one before and hopefully with some wonderful scenery along the way.
